Skyrim - Discussion

Note: This is currently a 1 on 1 roleplay between the SqueakyLlama and Ink. If you are highly interested in the rp, let one of us know and we may be able to work something out.

The roleplay takes place in the land of Skyrim, amid a civil war between two warring political factions; the Stormcloaks, led by Skyrim's native Nord race, and the Imperial Legion.

Classes
Of course, you have your three basic classes.

Warrior
Mage
Rogue

However, there are also the In-Between classes; blends of each class as if on a color wheel.  The difference is that these yield TWO secondary classes instead of just one, based on which of the two is emphasized the most.  They are as follows:

-Battle Mage (Mage/Warrior) - Mages who charge into the front lines of battle.  They are swift and lightly armored, but also difficult to strike.  They primarily use staves for weaponry, allowing them to quickly change up between close-quarters and ranged combat by using their chosen staff for striking as well as unleashing the elements.

-Arcane Gladiator (Warrior/Mage) - Unlike their cousin class, these guys are big, bulky things who use alteration and enchantment magics to boost the damage they can take and they damage they can do.  They're powerful but slow brutes who specialize in using bound or enchanted arsenals.

-Bandit (Warrior/Rogue) - Bandits are ruffians who are as skilled at the art of conning people, as they are at bashing in skulls.  They aren't a subtle as the typical rogue, but they do have many roguish qualities, such as being masters of speech craft, lock picking, and so on.

-Mercenary (Rogue/Warrior) - These are the sneakier warriors who are hired because of the subtle, specialized skill sets.  They are graceful stealth experts who range from silent thefts to quiet kills with maximum efficiency.  The way of the Mercenary has long been tainted by blunt warriors who just go out, swords raised in a blood rage to get the job done.  But a true mercenary knows the value of subtlety.  Anyone else is just another Sell Sword.

-Mystic Renegade (Rogue/Mage) - These are rogues who appreciate the mystic arts, using them to better their abilities and add to their success.  They are stealthy things with a knack for disappearing and using magic for quiet jobs, be they thefts or assassinations.  They rarely resort to using the louder, more forceful spells, instead relying on disappearing, water breathing, enchantments, and will bending.

-Shadow Mage (Mage/Rogue) - The Shadow Mage is an arcane master of a sort.  They utilize arcane knowledge to concoct deadly potions.  They summon the dead to do their bidding regularly, and they control minds or even bend the darkness, itself, to their whim.

Darji has always been on his own. Parentless for years, he's adapted to surviving by thievery. It started out small. Fruit, meat, clean water... Anything needed to survive. But only lately has his thieving skills surpassed to greater things. Jewelry, money, and weapons. However, great power comes with great responsibility. At the beginning of our story, Darji is on his way to be killed in Helgen after stealing precious jewels from Whiterun.

Bio: Aia is a Redguard pickpocket wanderer who formerly travelled about with a Khajit friend who watched out for her like a little sister.  Though the exact details are unknown, it has been suggested that Aia once ran with her brother and a band of young thieves.  One way or another, their group wound up getting killed off in some misadventure gone terribly awry, thus leaving only her brother and her Khajit friend.  Later on, however, Aia's brother is killed, presumably by bandits.  Aia and her Khajit ally were all that remained of their band.  However, Helgen brought fate upon them and sure enough, he died in the attack by the black winged dragon.  It is during the attack on Helgen that Aia meets up with a homeless vagabond girl named Ashanti.

Bio: Dakim is an adventurer from Shor's Stone.  He's long travelled across Skyrim, adventuring for the experience of it.  He occasionally accepts money to do odd jobs for people but is perfectly okay helping people for no charge, liking to bring some light into this suffering little world.  For one reason or another, Dakim was stopped on the road and arrested by the Imperial army where he was brought to Helgen and destined for the chopping block.  However, when the black dragon attacked, he was freed and made his escape with the Imperial Soldier, Hadvar.

Bio: Ashanti was found by Aia in Helgen as the black dragon attacked.  Aia brought her down to the basement level of one building, saving her life in the process.  She didn't reveal much about herself.  However, there is a pair of steel gauntlets magically bound to her hands which she cannot remove.  These gauntlets are enchanted, giving her incredible strength and anyone who tries to remove them will be horribly shocked.

Bio: Robyn lived in Helgen at the time of the dragon attack.  When it tried to kill her, it tore down the building.  As a result, the entire thing collapsed, striking her in the head.  She later found herself stricken with amnesia, only able to recall her name and the events of the attack, but nothing else.
